Posted on Aug 23rd, 2023
Nestled in the heart of Lexington's vibrant Hamburg area, Blackford Oaks is a distinctive residential community that seamlessly melds the rich equestrian heritage of the region with modern-day living. Directly across from the esteemed Madden horse farm and proudly claiming the starting point of the iconic Elkhorn Creek, this community offers homes that cater to diverse preferences, with prices ranging from $300,000 to $900,000. With its future vision of housing around 1,200 homes, Blackford Oaks isn't just about elegant living; it's a testament to community, nature, and history. Residents enjoy vast open green spaces, a nod to Kentucky's lush landscapes, making Blackford Oaks not just a place to live, but a lifestyle to embrace. Just a few days before the Council vote, the Association was able to work out a compromise with Ball Homes that would benefit the neighborhood.  The link below provides the details of the compromise agreement.
